Emitron introduces Renesas SuperH based Single Board Computer

Emitron, the German embedded computer company introduced a processor module based on a 400MHz SuperH processor. The module named HiCO.SH7780 is available with a choice of baseboards. It can also be customized for specific customer requirements.







The board's processor delivers 720 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). The board's components hav high heat tolerance, and can be used for high heat environment. It uses low power for battery powered designs.

Emtrion optionally supplies the boards with a preinstalled OS. This allows the user to instantaneously create their own applications.
