Microsoft and Google bid for Digg

Microsoft and google are learned to be preparing bid for digg. Digg is a social networking site where rated links and news are posted and rated by users. Digg is supposed be have been valued at aroung $200 million. The source of digg income come from Microsoft advertisement. Digg and Microsoft, therefore make a natural alliance.

Many people beleive that in the hands of Google or Microsoft, digg will be run better. As one uer pointed out - " At last I am happy that Digg will be in the hands of more serious people. Kevin Rose has made fun of Digg and we Diggers".

Besides Google and Microsoft, couple of more companies are supposed to be preparing the bis.
